"My wife and I have always wanted an athletic and sporty dog. A year ago, we purchased a half Labrador, half German Shorthair Pointer puppy. We wanted to be sure we trained her well. We enrolled her in a a 6-week training program with her through Petsmart, and did our best to be consistent in our training with her. But she was still a handful. We couldn't take her on walks because of her incessant pulling and tugging on the leash. We couldn't have her out when friends were over because she would jump all over them and make them uncomfortable. And We couldn't keep her in her kennel when we had guests over because she would howl like a banshee.
After a year of this struggle, we finally decided to drop her off a fetch it up kennels with the hope that they could rehabilitate her - and they exceeded our expectations. The words, "totally different dog" have been used more than once to describe the remarkable change that has taken place in her. She will heel on and off leash, sit in the face of distractions (and even while not being supervised), and she will approach strangers calmly and not jump all over them. It was worth every penny.
Fetch It Up was great to work with. We got our dog in the program with only one day's notice. And between dropping her off, a visit half-way through the training, and picking her up he must have spent at least 4 hours with us personally to ensure we were confident in the proper dog-handing techniques. With this one-on-one training, we were able to continue uniformly training our dog in a way that was tailored to her, and wasn't confusing for her.
If you have a retriever, the value you get with fetch it up kennels cannot be beat."
